April 20th and 21st, 2013. 2PM have finally completed their road to the Dome, after many years of hard work.
Six guys in their twenties, ended up crying on each other's shoulders.
2 days, 110,000 people. It is a pity that I am not one of them.

==== My name is JUN. K ====

The impression that Jun. K gives me, he would never "openly cry" for anyone to see.
During Hot Blood, when 3 of his team mates were eliminated, he bowed his head.
When the team leader (?) left, and they received a year-end award, he covered his face.
During Without U period, his leg was injured but yet he persevered on stage, he carried a crutch.
During their Japanese debut, there were nonstop performances, his knee injury got worse, he leaned on the company staff.
When his father passed away, just a few days after his birthday, he continued to sing with sorrow.
Everytime he is touched, everytime he got injured, everytime he grieves, he will always silently turn around, or bow his head, using his towel or hand to quickly and briefly wipe away the tears fro his eyes. Even when he knows that the fans are aware, he still persistently doesn't want his weaknesses to be seen.
Today, his mother was in the audience, apparently carrying 4 balloons for support, and stood up for the whole show.
His mother must be proud. Proud of this son who never stops working hard to prove himself.
There are some things that he would never say in public or on stage, but not expressing these words does not mean that they do not have meaning, or sincerity.
Jun. K seems tired lately, but he still gave a great show at the Dome from what I've heard on audio clips.
Whether it's his solo or whether it's other parts in other songs, I can't tell the difference whether he's singing well or whether he's not on form, I just know that he's high on music. I remember those times when I went high along with him, and the amount of times I broke my voice in the night was countless.
I wonder when would be the day when I finally see a proper solo from Jun. K. I wasn't here in time for when Alive was released, but I hope to accompany you through an official solo for once.
Normally, we'd tease him and Taec to be the Researcher Couple. But unlike Taec, Jun. K has made his goal in life very very clear -- music. From before his debut, he had already started practising composing. Right now, he is finally an official composer. As for the future, it's likely that his life will be dedicated to music.

==== I'm not a god ====

Today, the person that brought tears to us all -- Nichkhun.
A foreigner who struggled to make a living in Korea.
When he began, he didn't know any Korean. He could only smile, despite the brimming helplessness in his heart.
Because of his face, and the unwavering air of a gentlemen, he carried the image of a "male god", but unknowingly, this title didn't bring to him boundless honour, but became a burden that only grew heavier every day.
Today, that phrase, "I'm sorry". I think it's something that's been lingering in his heart for very, very long.
Without the opportune moment, without the opportune place, he wasn't able to tell everyone, "I'm sorry." He couldn't tell everyone, "I was wrong, please forgive me." For close to a year, he could only use his actions to convey the regret and guilt in his heart.
But really, Nichkhun ah, you didn't bring shame to anyone, and especially not to us.
For us fans who have been following you guys, we never felt that you have brought any hardship upon us.
Each and every one of you are so talented and good, that you are all our role models, you guys have taught Hottests so, so much - and especially you.
You've always cautiously tried to be the best person you cold be. Even when you faced a torrent of hate and bad words, you still stood your ground, smiling. You consoled the sea of crying fans, saying, "I'm OK, please take care of yourselves. I'm fine."
It's only when a person is at his lowest, then he'll always say, "I'm OK", "I'm fine", but do you know how much we are pained every single time you say that?
Sometimes, I kind of wish you'd just be a little bit more selfish. Whatever the 'image' you have, throw it all away, and just indulge in being yourself.

==== I love my OkCat ====

Just like the cornerstone bearing the weight of a house, Ok Taecyeon is just like the cornerstone of 2PM.
As compared to the others, perhaps he is the most suitable to become the leader, maybe even more so than Jay.
But instead, these recent years he has been quietly doing everything a leader should, but without the title of one.
To this day, a lot of people still have many criticisms about him, but yet how many of these people really truly understand this guy who draws cats everyday, to the point where he even dresses up as one to walk into the masses of a thousand fans outside the Dome?
The first impression that Ok Taecyeon gives me is that MC Ok that always shows off his intellligence a little here and there, even to the point of cheating sometimes.
But slowly, I began to realise this person is really all-rounded. He can sing, he can dance, he can be manly, he can be cute, he can be dramatic, he can be formal. He's the one who has to say the heavy stuff, and also the one that gives the official statements. And despite their crazy busy schedule, he still finds the time to learn and study, and even to achieve full marks on an exam and enter grad school.
Just like what other fans have said, being an idol singer is only going to be just one of the many, many experiences that will make up his life.
And some fans have even said, if one day Ok Taecyeon decides to run for President, I wouldn't even be surrpised.
This man always carries the principle of "I will either stubbornly hold back my tears, or else I will cry as much as I want, so that the next day I can still dry my tears and continue to aegyo and be cool". Today, he has cried as much as he wants.
He doesn't cry because of injury, he doesn't cry because of scoldings. No matter how much the suffering, he's always the last one smiling, shrugging his shoulders, as if saying, if things are going to be like this anyway, it won't be a big deal.
Today, his tears mean a lot - all that they've been through for these past few years, all the stress and pressures that they have been under, and yet also the many, many times they have been sincerely touched by Hottests.

------

For the YOUNG BOYS, I wrote more light-heartedly.
For those who cried reading the OLD BOYS part, sorry!

==== You are all my SEXY LADY ====

The squishy cheeks that make him the visual maknae.
Waking up early every morning to design, just to design a scrunchie for the fans, and saying that the flowers on it represent HOTTEST.
I sometimes wonder whether Wooyoung knows about everyone grumbling about the price of the scrunchie, and thus is making so much effort to publicise it everywhere. But really, Wooyoung ah, everyone is merely saying it. We will buy what we should buy, and those that didn't are left to regret.
In my eyes, Wooyoung is a really serious person, and puts his al into perfecting everything he does.
When I first started following 2PM, watching the 2PM Show, I didn't have much of an impression of Wooyoung. The only time I started noticing him was when I started watching Wild Bunny - that apple head.
Wooyoung's looks can't quite be termed as 'super handsome', but yet a legion of people still love it, him with his fluffy cheeks, something that possibly many mothers and even grandmothers might love.
This kid (I might still be able to call the Old Boys 'oppa', but for the third youngest, forget it), once he cries it gives me the feeling of "whatever you want, I'll give you", because the way he looks makes everyone want to pamper him.
This kid who continually insists that he's a Busan man, seems like he doesn't know how to fully express his feelings sometimes. Just like today, when everyone hugged Khun on stage, he was standing a little away, with an unreadable expression on his face. It was only after everyone let go, that he finally went up and gave him a huge hug. I don't know if he's just slow, or whether he was shy.
But fans really seem like they take after their idols. Woostans always give me the feeling like they're all very child-like, cute and squishy.

==== Hmph, I'm not telling you ====

Lee Junho, Lee Proud-Of-Himself, Lee Pretty, Little Emperor.
I'm not sure if his personality determined his looks, or whether his looks influenced his personality, but this kid gives me that feeling of pride emanating from deep within.
Actually, when I first started watching 2PM, I didn't have a good impression (I hope I won't get killed for this!). He had an overly strong competitiveness, and sometimes got too serious for a simple game on a variety show.
But as I slowly got to know him, I realised, this kid has a common trait with the other 5. Whatever hurt, whatever pain, he hides it in his heart. "Hmph, I'm not telling you."
All along, he's always been in charge of the acrobatics. Injuring his wrist, hips, all his injuries only make us feel more pained. Personally, my own mother injured her waist too when I was a kid, so I understand just how painful a waist injury could be.
With an injured waist, but yet he still uses his whole body in his dancing, he doesn't know how many people he tortured during the Shanghai concert. Whether it's his own stans, or stans of other members, we were all hurting for this little proud emperor who couldn't even make a small movement without pain but stubborn persevered for the entire concert.
If we say that Nichkhun is the kind of good man that accomodates your every flaw, then Junho would be that rascal who nitpicks on your every mistake, but yet at the most important moment, would give you a special surprise that melts your heart completely.
This kid has improved along in his song compositions, but behind this improvement must be so much effort that everyone are not able to see. What we see, is him singing and dancing on stage, occasionally being cute when he's in a good mood. The Lee Junho of 2PM that side-eyes everyone most of the time, exactly what he has gone through behind the exterior of glitz and glam is something that none of us will know.
I personally think Junho is the type that would secretly remember every single detail of his life. Whatever good or bad you do to him, he will secretly lock it in his memory.
This point is very much like a little emperor. After all, he's very much like a lot of us Hottests, a '90-liner, but just because his career is a special one, so his burdens are exponentially bigger. But behind it all, he's still like a little kid, needing people to pamper him, but yet unwilling to open his mouth and ask.
Or maybe his teenage rebellious phase isn't over…?

==== I'm the real maknae ====

The one who looks the least like a maknae, but yet is the world's best maknae.
The one in 2PM who makes my heart ache the most is not my oppar (Jun. K) but really Hwang Chansung.
Maybe because his age is the closest to mine, and I personally am also someone whose mental age is much older than my physical one, so I really feel like Hwang Chansung is very similar to me.
Before his debut, he was an actor, although his character wasn't very important. I watched High Kick long long ago, but I had no impression. Even when he debuted, his style at that time could have been quite destructive to his image.
In my eyes, Hwang Chansung is the one among the 6 of them that is most unable to fight for himself. He started as an actor, but it was only after so long that he managed to get hold of a script, and also an idol drama. He was handsome, but it didn't leave an impression.
Many times, he just stands at the side with a dazed look on his face, looking on as his hyungs make a rowdy scene. He doesn't speak up very much, and feels like he isn't there, but it wrings my heart when I see it.
During their debut, even until now, there are always people who say that he is untalented. He goes off pitch when he sings, and his dancing can't surpass Junho or Wooyoung, but something these people will never realise, is just how much improvement this kid has made since his debut. Having watched a compilation of performances from their debut years, to now, within the 6 of them, he's made the biggest improvement by far.
The way he cries, is that his eyes would open really wide, and his tears would slowly stream down his face. Even then he still has the heart to go to console his hyungs who are also crying.

==== Epilogue ====

Today is a special day, and a lot of us have cried our eyes out.
All along, Hottests have been through a lot, a lot of rational kids have had to give way to a lot of idiots.
All along, the hate that 2PM has endured has also been vast, but yet they pulled through.
I've always felt that if we as a fandom are stronger, it'll push 2PM further.
Maybe my threshold is higher, but tonight I didn't cry. It hasn't been an easy journey for these 6 boys, but I sincerely hope I will be here for them for as long as I can.
